Will callers know it's an AI?
Clara sounds natural and warm, and she's honest. If a caller asks whether they're speaking with a person, she says she's the clinic's AI receptionist, and then gets them booked.
Does Clara give medical advice?
Never. She shares general treatment information and pricing ranges, then routes anything clinical to your team. For emergencies she directs callers to 911 or the nearest ER.
Which calendar does it work with?
Google Calendar. During setup you share your clinic's calendar with Clara's service account, and she reads availability and books appointments in real time.
Can Clara use Outlook, Apple Calendar or my booking software?
Today Clara books into Google Calendar. Many clinics keep a dedicated Google calendar for consultations, which works well alongside other tools. If you rely on Outlook, Apple or software such as Boulevard, Zenoti or Vagaro, request a demo and we'll tell you honestly what's possible for your setup.
Can Clara sound like me?
Yes. The optional voice add-on is a one-time $499. You upload a short recording, hear a preview, and approve it before it ever reaches a caller. You can switch back to Clara's standard voice whenever you like. Only upload a voice you have permission to use.
What do patients receive after booking?
A branded confirmation email with the treatment, date, time, your address and phone number, plus any pre-visit instructions you write during setup.
How long does setup take?
After checkout you complete a short form with your clinic details and calendar. Your Clara agent is created automatically, so most clinics are ready the same day.
What if Clara can't help with something?
She stays gracious, collects the caller's name and number, and lets them know your team will follow up personally. She never leaves a caller stuck.
